The easy-to-use hemostatic balloon for the treatment of postpartum hemorrhage. The PPB balloon makes intrauterine tamponade simple and effective. The balloon is used for the control of postpartum hemorrhage after ineffective drug treatment and can thus avoid potential embolization.
Principles
Once the balloon is inserted into the uterus and filled with sterile physiological fluid, it exerts a homogeneous pressure on
the walls of the uterus, thus holding back the bleeding. Its large drainage channel allows blood to be evacuated efficiently.
